DREAMS is a unique blend of new age piano. Composed and performed by J. Scott Davis, Inspired by life, its challenges and its beauty.
"When I was four years old, I learned that I have a musical ear. Since childhood, people have tried to persuade me to play the piano professionally, telling me that this is my true calling in life. And although I've wanted to do this with great passion, it's been challenging for me to find enough time to record my music or to make live performances, as I've been so busy building 'RV Toy Store' and 'Sunguard', since 1983. When I published my last RV Toy Store print catalog, I had hoped to have had this special CD recorded by then, so that it could have been included in the catalog. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. So, I set a new goal, to record it on my 46th birthday, in time for our next print catalog. I'm happy to report that this dream is now a reality ... and I know you're going to enjoy my DREAMS! It's currently our 'music on hold' here at RV Toy Store, so the next time you call, be sure to listen!"
Music is said to be the speech of Angels.
"I usually start having urges to write a new song after a major life event. Also, whenever I'm trying to resolve a difficult problem, I'll play the piano to take my mind off the matter. As I begin to play and relax and really let go, a new song tends to come bubbling up. That's when I become really engrossed in playing the piano. The miraculous thing is that while I am thus engaged, the answer to my problem inevitably comes. So you see, piano has become very important in my life."
